WHO YOU ARE:
You enjoy maintaining and repairing the facility and equipment, housekeeping, and leading a small team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assists with the overall direction, coordination, scheduling, and evaluation of the Facilities team including assistance with hiring, training, career development; planning, assigning, and reviewing work performance; addressing complaints and resolving issues from department employees.
- Performs Facilities Lead, EVS, and Heavy-Duty job tasks as needed.
- Supervise and participate with staff in maintaining the facility by ensuring that the interior building is cleaned on a regular basis; before, during and after bingo activities; that all gaming sections are free of litter, all table surfaces are clean and prepared for the next session.
- Performs work involving maintenance skills to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of facility in repair.
- Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts; if supplies are needed, provides order requirements to Facilities Management.
- Implement operational standards and procedures for the departments supervised.
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Assist with the set up and tear-down, arrange, and/or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
- Removes snow from sidewalks using snow shovels and spread ice melting chemical as needed.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Collect soiled laundry articles from designated MIB locations and then load articles, start washers and driers to regulate machine processes to clean laundry. Once the cycle is complete, fold, sort and restock articles.
- Handles and disposes of Sharps Container and other bio-hazardous materials.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Determines cleaning routes for staff and gives guidance/expectations for completion of duties.
- Request or recommend the purchase of facility-related supplies, equipment, or technology.
- Reviews and verifies daily logs and restroom cleaning logs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year verifiable industrial janitorial experience to include office spaces, kitchen spaces and general grounds cleaning required.

Work in bingo operations and/or internal or external environments occasionally. Muckleshoot Bingo is a smoking environment. Exposure to secondhand smoke, moderate to high noise levels, bright lights, and fluctuating temperatures/weather conditions are common.
