WHO YOU ARE:

You are an energetic customer service professional who enjoys cash-handling and various other cash transaction tasks.     

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Receives and exchanges coins/cash and paper tickets from patrons.
• Receives Bingo winning cards and issues bingo payouts to be presented to the winner by Bingo staff. 
• Prepare fills, conducts big-ups, and completes credit transactions as needed.
• Issues, reconciles, returns, and remakes all cash-handling department banks.
• Receives and verifies cash from soft-count.
• Prepares the window bank reconciliation and accounting related records.
• Ability to work all window bank assignments within the Cage, including the vault upon completion of training.
• Ensures that cage operations are in compliance with Title 31.
• Calls the bank weekly to receive the Canadian Currency buy rate.
• Prepares and runs the first count for all kiosks to be filled and returned to soft-count; verifies all paperwork for the kiosks.
• Verifies all the previous days’ paperwork and completes the daily revenue report to obtain a deposit number.
• Prepares bank deposits.
• Sorts, counts, rolls/bags coins, and straps currency.
• Provides assistance with the training of new cashiers.
• Issues and receives petty cash.
• Operates two-pocket currency counter.
• Maintains cage security.
• Prepares IRS documents for jackpot winners.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Six (6) months of cash handling experience preferred.

Since we first opened on January 21, 1985, Muckleshoot Bingo has helped the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe launch a period of economic prosperity. We have grown from our humble beginnings as a small bingo tent located where our sister property Muckleshoot Casino now stands, into a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot entertainment space, boasting two floors with over 1,000 bingo seats and over 500 of the hottest Vegas-style slot machines, and annually employ over 200 people from across the greater Auburn area.
